Failed lumpia or spring roll. I learned not to use the egg wrapper but the other pastry wrapper. Brocolli. Guiness beer is no longer being sold at the Food 4 Less. It was a bargain when Guiness was being sold at Food 4 Less at $8.00 a six pack. Now I have to go to Ralph's to purchase a $10.00 six pack. Both are Kroger Companies, Ralph differentiates itself as a high-end grocer while Food 4 Less as a discount grocer. The world is going to hell when you can't get a descent beer at a descent price.

My last can of teriyaki flavored sardines from Mitsuwa, formerly Yaohan supermarket. I weep over the loss of a favorite Japanese grocery store. As a remembrance, a pot luck party should be held at the former location and food items should be exchanged. Will the lost community rise up?

Soujuk russian dried beef jerky, tomato and cucumber salad.

Stir-fried mushrooms in sake and olive oil.

Maple flavored sausage (as if we need more high fructose syrup to go along with the fat, food companies please stop adding high fructose syrup to everything). Scrambled egg.

Tofu in tomato sauce. Stir-fried mushrooms in olive oil and a dash of cabernet sauvignon. Blanched broccoli.
